So what is Countercultured?
Lets not get in over our heads here.
Countercultured is a 20 year old college guys response to the bitching and moaning that the mainstream press and entertainment industry "stars" have shared with us about government. None of us asked for Barbara Streisands opinion. No one cares if Maureen Dowd thinks Bush is a bastard. We just dont care. 40 years ago, hippies and activists were all the rage.
Today? We all can vote, we all can coexsist, and we all get to live in the wealthiest and strongest country in the world. So why is everyone still bitching and moaning?
Its about time these talking heads and entertainers who think they represent the "counter-culture" get a dose of their own medicine. Its about time someone says, "Hey, things arent all that bad." Its about time for me to get drunk and make my first real post in one hour.
Oh yes, its about time.
